Brazil has seen a significant increase in corn exports, up by 29.42% from the previous year to 55.86 million tons, according to the Secretariat of Foreign Trade. This surge is largely attributed to Mato Grosso, which contributed over half of the total volume. The growth in exports has been driven by the opening of new markets, especially China, and the introduction of the largest production of the 2022/23 harvest. China, Vietnam, and Japan were the top importers of cereal from Mato Grosso.
