Daughter of the cheese-making tradition of Nueva Helvecia and trained in Montevideo, Solange Porley Króger went from selling cheeses through social media to becoming the first Uruguayan elected as a Super Judge of the World Cheese Awards. Her story of craft, study, and passion led her to join the panel of 14 experts who select the best cheese in the world, while promoting artisanal cheese-making in Uruguay through her brand De Guarda.
