The article introduces the Silage Sorghum Project in Tekirdağ, Turkey, which aims to combat climate change and drought by introducing sorghum as an alternative feed source. The project, supported by a 75% grant, was introduced at the Sorghum Harvest event in the Malkara district. The sorghum plant is expected to consume less water compared to other silage feeds, making it a viable option in areas with limited irrigation. The project covers 3,000 acres of land across 11 districts in Tekirdağ this season and has received positive feedback from growers.
