The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development (DALRRD) of South Africa has accepted the sanitary requirements proposed by Argentina's National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (Senasa) for the export of dried porcine hemoglobin. This means that exports can now commence. The total shipments of animal and plant products from Argentina to South Africa, certified by Senasa, exceed 520,000 tons. Key exports from Argentina to South Africa include corn grains, soybean meal, sunflower pellets, sheep wool, bovine and poultry offal, and bovine cuts.
