Soil moisture in Brazil and Argentina is assessed as satisfactory, which creates good conditions for spring sowing. The sowing campaign for wheat and barley in June-July was generally successful. In the west (Cordoba, San Luis, La Pampa, western Santa Fe) there was drought, but late August rains significantly improved soil conditions.
