According to officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Safety, a total of 4.5 tons of hanwoo beef and pork valued at 280 million won (190,000 U.S. dollars) were transported to Singapore. Singapore is the eighth export market for South Korean hanwoo beef after countries such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, and the United Arab Emirates.
