South Korean mackerel imports down 9%

As of September, 27,941 tonnes (82%) of frozen mackerel were imported from Norway, 3,645 tonnes from China, 1,352 tonnes from Taiwan and 611 tonnes from the Netherlands. Last year there were also imports from Ecuador and Lithuania. Import price of frozen mackerel by country: the highest in the UK – 2.23 US dollars/kg and Norway – 2.23 US dollars/kg, in China – 1.97 US dollars/kg, in the Netherlands – 2.03 US dollars/ kg, in Germany - 2.10 US dollars/kg and in Taiwan -1.48 US dollars/kg.
