In September, Oman's seafood exports to South Korea saw a significant increase, with the volume rising by 112% to a total of 7,180 tonnes, valued at US$7.18 million. This marks a substantial increase from the previous year's figures of 3,390 tonnes and US$3.39 million. Notably, frozen cuttlefish imports surged by 133% to 1,808 tonnes, and the import price per kilogram decreased by 10%. Other seafood imports such as frozen cuttlefish and swordfish also saw substantial increases. Oman's role in the South Korean seafood market is anticipated to grow due to these significant trends.
