Soybean and pulse prices in Germany 11% lower than last year

The 2025/26 season is starting with a significant decline in prices for field peas, beans and soybeans produced in Germany, according to the German Association for the Promotion of Oilseeds and Cereals (UFOP). However, German farmers are optimistic and predict that this year’s harvest will be satisfactory. The first data on yield and quality are encouraging. The International Grains Council expects the global supply of pulses to be higher this season than in the previous marketing year. A record soybean harvest is forecast in the United States, one of the world’s largest soybean exporters, as well as in Brazil, also the world’s largest soybean producer.
