Soybean, bran and corn: Anec of Brazil raises export forecast in December

Brazil's soybean exports in December were revised to 1.62 million tons, an increase of 330 thousand tons compared to the previous forecast of 1.29 million tons, according to data updated by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec). For corn, the estimate rose to 4.09 million tons, an increase of 130 thousand tons compared to the 3.96 million tons forecast last week. For soybean meal, the projection was adjusted to 2.17 million tons, an increase of 270 thousand tons compared to the 1.90 million previously estimated. Between December 15 and 21, Brazilian ports are expected to ship 698.5 thousand tons of soybeans, 548.9 thousand tons of soybean meal and 1 million tons of corn, according to the port schedule. For wheat, weekly shipments are estimated at 95.7 thousand tons.
