According to the executive director of the Fat and Oil Union, soybean oil supplies abroad may increase by 13% in the 2023/24 season. However, the export of soybean meal may decrease due to the introduction of an exchange rate duty. In the past season, soybean oil exports increased by 18%, with a third of the supplies going to Algeria, India, and China, while soybean meal exports increased by 8%, mainly to Turkey, Belarus, and Germany.
