The article reports on the agricultural activities in the Lipetsk region, focusing on the sowing of crops for the current season. The region has seen an increase in the allocated area for oilseeds, particularly soybeans, which now covers 140,000 hectares, and sunflowers, with an expansion of nearly 15,000 hectares. Despite challenging weather conditions, sowing has commenced for these crops in some districts. Other crops such as rapeseed, wheat, barley, peas, lupine, oats, and corn are also being sown, with varying progress. The sowing of sugar beets and annual grasses is not progressing as planned due to the weather. Additionally, planting for potatoes is set to occur on nearly 5,500 hectares across 12 districts, with large-scale involvement from over 10 farms.
