With the end of the sanitary gap, the sowing of the 2025/26 soybean crop has gained momentum in Brazil, especially in Mato Grosso, Paraná, and Goiás. However, the progress is still uneven: while Paraná has already sown 11% of the area, Santa Catarina has reached 2.3% and São Paulo only 3.4%, with plantings restricted to irrigated areas. The lack of more consistent rainfall continues to be an obstacle in states like Mato Grosso do Sul.
