Soybean planting grows with improved rainfall

According to the weekly analysis of the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), released this Monday (20), as of last Friday (17), the sowing of soybeans for the 2025/2026 crop has reached 43.57% of the planned areas. This index represents an advance of 22.35 percentage points compared to the previous week. The current percentage is 18.49 points higher than that recorded in the same period last year and 7.64 points ahead of the average of the last five years. According to Imea, the progress is related to the greater regularity of rainfall in some regions of the state, which allowed the advancement of activities in the field.
