The planting of the 2025/26 soybean crop in the state of Piauí has reached approximately 29% of the area estimated by the National Supply Company (Conab). It is expected that the cultivated area will increase by 4.6% compared to the previous season. According to the president of Aprosoja Piauí, Janailton Fritzen, the scenario is worrying, as the rains in the state are very irregular, in contrast to the good regularity recorded in the past crop.
