The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, has underscored the importance of agricultural cooperation with Ecuador and the "shared will to promote innovation, the sustainability of the agricultural sector, and rural development, through concrete actions that benefit both territories and our farmers, ranchers, and fishermen." Planas signed this Thursday with the Ecuadorian Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Danilo Palacios, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on agricultural matters between the two countries. The agreement will materialize in actions of technical cooperation and the exchange of experiences. As the Spanish minister highlighted, "the signing of this memorandum is a very important step forward in the relations between Spain and Ecuador."
