Spain imports more piglets

The main supplier of piglets in Spain is the Netherlands. According to Spanish trade figures, 1.26 million piglets went to that country in the first three quarters. Denmark supplied 150,500, Belgium 122,000 and Portugal 113,500. According to statistics, the number of animals imported from Germany has also increased by more than a fifth from January to September 2021 to almost 83,700 animals.
