A recent survey conducted by the Organization of Associated Producers of Large Freezer Tuna Vessels (OPAGAC) found that canned tuna is consumed by 100% of young university students in the country between one and three times a week. The survey also revealed that there is a growing concern among students about the sustainable origin of the product and the labor rights of those involved in its capture and processing. In response to these findings, OPAGAC has launched the 'Turning with APR' campaign to promote the responsible consumption of tuna and highlight the Responsible Fishing Tuna (APR) seal, which guarantees the product's sustainability.
