[Reporter Hong Lan, Korea Farmers' News] Domestic agricultural machinery companies are accelerating their market expansion with significant export achievements in the Middle East market. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Rural Community Corporation dispatched a "K-Agricultural Machinery Market Development Team" consisting of 12 domestic agricultural machinery export companies to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and held an export consultation meeting on September 24, they said. The consultation meeting was attended by 25 local purchasing companies from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Pakistan, and others, and through a total of 91 consultations, export agreements worth approximately $2 million were concluded. Due to the desert climate and limited arable land, the agricultural environment in the United Arab Emirates is challenging.
