The EU Commission has reported a slight increase in prices for young bulls and slaughter cows in the week ending June 30. The weighted average price for young bulls in trading class R3 was 507.98 euros/100 kg slaughter weight, a 0.2% increase from the previous week, with Italy experiencing a 7.7% price increase. Slaughter cow prices in trading class O3 also increased by 0.3% to an average of 430.16 euros/100 kg SG, with Austria reporting a 5.2% rise. However, prices in Ireland and Spain fell by 0.2% and 3.4% respectively. The prices for slaughter heifers remained unchanged.
