[Livestock and Fisheries Newspaper=Kim Sinji, reporter] Starting this year, the communal mite control support project includes broiler farms. According to the Korea Poultry Association (President O Sejin), the support targets over 150 broiler and laying hen farms in 12 provinces, with a support standard of up to 20 million won per farm (40% national budget, 40% local budget, 20% self-funded), and farms with more than 200,000 heads of broilers and laying hens are excluded from the support. First, the selection criteria are small-scale broiler and laying hen farms with a breeding capacity of 50,000 heads or less and no prior participation experience in the same project, and they must be a single farm without other farms owned by the same owner or family farm.
