The seminar attracted about 40 large Vietnamese rice and agricultural product export enterprises and representatives from Hong Kong rice trading enterprises. According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency's Hong Kong correspondent, Du Henan, President of the Vietnam Food Association, stated in his opening speech at the seminar that the event aims to create conditions for rice enterprises of the two associations, updating the rice production, trade, and consumption situation between Vietnam and Hong Kong. Vietnamese enterprises brought high-end rice products currently in the market and introduced them to Hong Kong rice importers, hoping to open a new chapter for bilateral trade.
