During all these months when the chainsaw threatened INTA (National Institute of Agricultural Technology), the Argentine Agroindustrial Council (CAA) did not speak out about it, although many of the organizations that make it up did so independently. Now that the decree promoted by Minister Federico Sturzenegger to eliminate its political and financial autonomy has been revealed, that business bloc was the first to speak out in favor of reforms in the technological institute. And it offered its cooperation in exchange for a seat on the upcoming advisory council to be formed within the organization. In an early statement, this organization of organizations (supposedly integrating some 40 chambers from all productive chains) said that "it wishes to express its support for reforms that enable INTA to fulfill its fundamental objectives: promoting innovation, competitiveness, productivity, and investment in agroindustrial goods and services chains".
