Successfully completed the first test of transporting grapes with a drone in Ribeira Sacra

The first test carried out to check the possibility of transporting grapes from the vineyards to the wineries of the Ribeira Sacra, as an alternative during the grape harvest - especially in those places with very difficult access - has been completed "successfully," according to the institutions and entities involved in the project. Specifically, this test was conducted on September 25 at the Finca Míllara winery - in A Míllara, Pantón - within the project "Space for Innovative Commercial Air Services -Escai Ribeira Sacra-)". In this test, the DJI FlyCart 30 drone, operated by Grupo Elecnor, successfully completed the transport of 60 kilos of mencía grapes, in an operation that consisted of three trips of just 3 minutes each, by transporting the load in a box suspended from the old vines to the winery.
