Brazil's sugar and molasses exports have seen a significant decrease in the first ten business days of March 2025, with a daily average drop of 47.1% compared to February 2024. The total exports for February 2024 were 3,004,379.0 tons, while the current month's total is 83,709.3 tons. This decrease is attributed to a 10.6% drop in price, which fell from US$ 526.6/ton to US$ 471.0/ton, leading to a 52.7% reduction in average revenue. Consequently, the country has invoiced US$ 394,236.8 thousand from these exports in the first ten business days of March, a significant decrease from the US$ 1,582,010.4 thousand invoiced in February 2024.
