Bulgaria's sunflower oil exports have seen a 19% decrease this season, with exports totaling over 0.33 Mt, down from over 0.4 Mt last year. This decline is attributed to weaker imports, reduced production, and less processing. Despite the drop, this year still ranks as the second-best for Bulgarian exports. The country also experienced a decrease in oil imports from third countries, down to less than 0.1Mt from 0.135Mt last year. Sunflower imports also fell to just over 0.36 Mt from 0.58 Mt the previous year.
