Table beet prices are falling in Ukraine

This week, sale prices for table beets in Ukraine began to decrease. This is reported by EastFruit analysts. It is noted that, according to market participants, the decrease in the price of beets was caused by a decrease in demand for these products. In addition, significant market pressure is exerting an increase in the supply of substandard beets, which producers seek to sell first. Thus, according to the daily monitoring data of the project, as of April 9, beets in Ukrainian farms are offered for sale at UAH 8-14/kg ($0.21-0.36/kg), which is on average 13% cheaper than at the end of last year working week.
