During the 19th Regional Oregano Festival and the 13th Andean Products Fair of Tacna, held on May 17 and 18, producers managed to market five tons of oregano, in addition to other agricultural and gastronomic products, generating income of S/ 130,000. According to the Regional Agriculture Directorate of Tacna (DRA Tacna), the event brought together dozens of Tacna residents and tourists from the neighboring country of Chile, who came to the Paseo de las Aguas to consume local products.
