An audit by Taiwanese technicians is set to take place from Monday to November 8, covering various areas including laboratories, farms, and slaughterhouses in order to enable the export of Paraguayan poultry, pork, and cattle products to Taiwan. This inspection is a crucial step in the process, following the announcement in the first half of the year that Paraguay is free from all diseases, as the country's products are noted for their quality and competitive pricing. The audit will be focused on the poultry sector in the first week and the pork and cattle sectors in the second week. This comes as part of Paraguay's strategy to expand its livestock exports, with ongoing discussions with Singapore for potential market access.
