Uzbekistan achieved significant success in pomegranate exports, shipping 4,280 tons to five countries over the eleven months from January to November 2024, generating a revenue of $4.7 million. Russia emerged as the largest buyer, accounting for 54.7% of the total exports, with Tajikistan and Kazakhstan following suit. Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine rounded out the top five importers. This achievement places Uzbekistan among the top three pomegranate exporting countries globally for the second consecutive year, according to EastFruit analysis.
