Tajikistan plans to buy around 300,000 tons of oilseeds from Russia, as part of a cooperation roadmap between the two nations' agriculture ministries. The initial supply will comprise about 50,000 tons of sunflower and rapeseed oilseeds. The roadmap also involves personnel training for the agricultural sector, knowledge exchange between agricultural universities, and the import of agricultural machinery, equipment and mineral fertilizers from Russia. The agreement also includes the export of agricultural products from Tajikistan to Russia, though the specifics are yet to be detailed.
