Tanzania has opened its market to 14 Brazilian agricultural products, said the Secretary of Commerce and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Luis Rua. Brazil will be able to export live cattle for breeding; bovine embryos in vivo and in vitro; meat and poultry products; meat, offal, and their products from cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs; heat-processed products from cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry; fertile eggs and day-old chicks. "We have achieved 185 market openings for agribusiness products this year and 485 since 2023," Rua told journalists on the sidelines of the COP30 Farmers' Summit, an event held by the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) and the World Farmers' Organization (WFO) in Brasilia.
