Embrapa Pesca e Aquicultura (Palmas-TO) will present two technologies during COP30, which takes place in Belém-PA from November 10 to 21. These are the results of its two thematic research cores: one focusing on aquaculture and fishing; the other on specific agricultural systems for the Cerrados in the North-Central region of the country. The system for raising tambaquis in small-scale net tanks is a set of validated management practices with the main native Brazilian species in a production system that presents great potential. These include issues such as the ideal stocking density, the appropriate volume of the net tank, and the correct feeding management (with the ideal amount of feed and at the necessary times) which, together, enable gains for the fish farmer. This package of technical recommendations is recommended for fish farmers who sell their production directly to the end consumer.
