According to the USDA, 55% of corn is now rated good to excellent, with 92% silking, 61% in the dough stage, and 11% dented. Cotton is 94% squared, 64% setting bolls, and 53% rated good to excellent. Soybeans are 78% blooming, 78% setting pods, and 60% rated good to excellent. Additionally, 38% of tobacco plants are topped, with 65% of the crop rated good to excellent, and pastures have improved to 34% good to excellent.
