Thailand-Indonesia exchange important agricultural policies

Mr. Setthakit Krachangwong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, said after discussing with Hon. Mr. Khilmi, Chairman of the Indonesia-Thailand Parliamentary Friendship Group, and his team that both sides exchanged agricultural policies and food security and exchanged views on agricultural policies and food security. The Thai side mentioned the action plan (2023-2027) of the Ministry of Agriculture to improve the quality of life of farmers by increasing their income by at least 10% per year, covering important development strategies, focusing on improving production capacity, developing plant and animal breeds, agricultural machinery and equipment, and creating food security at the household, community, local and national levels, including the importance of food security at both the bilateral and ASEAN levels.
