Thailand: Rubber exports in 2025 show positive growth despite supply risks

According to the Thai Ministry of Agriculture, in 2025, the total export volume of natural rubber (excluding blended rubber) in Thailand reached approximately 2.669 million tons, a decrease of 5.3% compared to the previous year. However, the export product structure shows a clear shift: standard rubber exports reached 1.478 million tons, a sharp decrease of 16%, while smoked sheet rubber reached 438,000 tons, an increase of 24%, and rubber latex reached 735,000 tons, an increase of 8%. This trend reflects the adjustment of the product structure towards items with stable demand and better suited to international market requirements. In 2025, Thailand's export of natural rubber to China reached 1.06 million tons, an increase of 18% compared to the same period last year.
