Thai fruit exports, especially to China, will face increased competition in the future, according to Deputy Minister of Commerce Napintorn Srisunpang. Thailand exported 1.74 million tonnes of fruits in the first 10 months of the year, with a total export value of 174.27 billion THB. Vietnam has gained an advantage in durian exports to China due to a longer harvest period, impacting Thailand's ability to meet Chinese market demand.
