The 13th Pocheon Hanwoo Festival will be held at the Hantan River Ecological Landscape Complex on the 20th.

(Pocheon=Yonhap News) Reporter No Seung-hyuk = Gyeonggi Pocheon City announced on the 16th that the "13th Pocheon Hanwoo Festival" will be held at the Hantan River Ecological Landscape Complex in Gwanin-myeon from the 20th to the 21st.

This festival is planned to widely promote the excellence of Pocheon's representative livestock product, Hanwoo, and to activate consumption.

During the festival, there will be a discount sale of Pocheon Hanwoo premium meat (15% cheaper than the market price), operation of a grilling area, tasting events, promotion and sale of milk consumption and dairy products, sale of processed agricultural products such as Gaesong ginseng, as well as family-based experiential events and celebratory performances.

Pocheon City plans to increase local farmers' income through this festival and create a space for citizens and visitors to gather.

A Pocheon City official said, "The Pocheon Hanwoo Festival held at the Hantan River Ecological Landscape Complex will be an opportunity to directly experience the excellence of Pocheon Hanwoo in nature" and "we look forward to the participation of many citizens and tourists."
