The 2024/25 olive oil campaign would have closed last September 30 with stock levels of approximately 290,000 tons, according to data provided by the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA). This volume is higher than the previous two campaigns, which were marked by drought, but lower than the more than 400,000 tons with which the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns closed. ASAJA Jaén has pointed out that this link, added to the quota for the current 2025/26 campaign published by the Ministry of Agriculture, which stands at 1,370,000 tons, "will give us availabilities for next year of 1,670,000 tons, plus imports," meaning that the new campaign will be very similar to the last one, provided the weather cooperates.
