The Andresito Cooperative, which days ago announced a cessation of payments "due to the current economic situation," is now joined by the Agricultural Cooperative Km. 16 of Oberá, which also cannot meet the payment to part of its members, due to bounced checks from the mill to which they send cured yerba mate. "The cooperative is 20 years old. It consists of 20 members and we buy yerba from third-party producers. There are about 110 families of which about 50 did not receive payment. The bomb exploded 60 days ago with the first bounced checks from the cured yerba mate we sold to the La Hoja mill.
