The Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Council holds a meeting with young farmers.

The Special Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and Rural Areas under the President (chaired by Kim Ho) announced that it held a "Dialogue Meeting for Young Farmers" on October 28 with around 20 representatives of young farmers' organizations, as well as related organizations such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Korea Rural Community Corporation, and the Central Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives. This meeting was organized to enhance the effectiveness of policies for nurturing young farmers by allowing young farmers and policy makers to share major policies and exchange a wide range of opinions on policies for nurturing young farmers. According to the committee, various opinions on policies for nurturing young farmers were presented at the meeting, including customized support for different stages (preparation, entry, and growth) and ways to strengthen information linkage between local governments and central ministries.
