The war in Ukraine will affect agricultural markets throughout Europe, and its effects will also be felt by Polish apple exporters. They have already lost the opportunity to sell their fruit to the East, incl. to Mongolia and Kazakhstan, and the situation is additionally made more difficult by the lack of containers that would allow them to be shipped by sea, for example to Egypt, which in recent years has become one of the main importers of Polish apples. - What saves us is a relatively good price for industrial apples. On the other hand, since the beginning of this year, there has been a very large stagnation in the sale of dessert apples - both on the domestic market and in export.
