The application for the aid measure for the wine sector begins in Bulgaria

As of today, documents under the measure "Information in the Member States" of the National Program for Support in the Wine and Wine Sector 2019-2023 will be adopted, the Ministry of Agriculture announced on its website. The measure is applied for the first time after its introduction in the national program, and the planned budget for 2021 is a little over BGN 3,000,000. The deadline for applications is February 24. The measure aims to inform consumers about responsible wine consumption and the risk associated with harmful alcohol consumption. In addition, consumers will be made aware of the European Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) scheme and the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for wine.
