The Government of the Canary Islands is making progress in processing the draft decree regulating the allocation and reservation of reference quantities for banana producers, in accordance with the provisions of the Community Programme for Support to Agricultural Production in the Canary Islands (POSEI). According to the deadlines established by current regulations, its approval is expected between the end of February and the beginning of March 2025, reports the Ministry of Agriculture in a statement.
