[Korea Farmers' News Agency, Reporter Song Hae-chang] The Chungnam Agricultural Technology Institute has published a guide for crop-specific smart farm cultivation to lead in smart agriculture. The guide includes essential information for a total of eight crops, including newly added crops this year such as cucumbers and freesia, as well as existing strawberries, cherry tomatoes, perilla leaves, goji berries, chrysanthemums, and scallions. The detailed contents include the necessity and principles of smart farms, considerations during installation, installation methods, facility management tips, data collection and utilization, management analysis, and farmer case studies. It also systematically organizes the types of data collected in greenhouses during smart farm cultivation, growth and measurement methods, and includes visual materials such as graphs to help farmers easily interpret and utilize the data.
