Turkey's honey exports have seen a significant increase, with the country selling to 40 countries, autonomous and free zones in just four months, generating an income of $11,477,245 from the export of 3,700 tons of honey. The United States, Germany, and Spain were the top buyers, with the USA alone accounting for $3,963,636 of the sales. Other countries including Slovenia, the Philippines, the Czech Republic, France, Albania, Nepal, Switzerland, and Morocco also made purchases. Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, expressed optimism about the sector's future growth, leveraging Turkey's plant diversity and endemic plants.
