The State Agency for Land Reclamation and Fisheries has set the limit for catch per person to 30 crayfish per day, with a minimum size of 9-11 cm. The agency has also prohibited manual harvesting of crayfish during dark hours with the use of illumination. The article warns of penalties, including administrative fines, criminal liability, and compensation for losses caused to the fishery for illegal crayfish harvesting. The compensation for each illegally caught crayfish is UAH 3,332.
