Mr. Rapiphat Chanthasriwong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, revealed that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, has a policy for the Department of Agriculture to accelerate the policy of vegetables and fruits that must be safe and of quality for both domestic consumption and export to create stable income for the Thai agricultural sector. Therefore, he has assigned the Agricultural Research and Development Office, Region 6, Chanthaburi Province (ARDA6) to organize a meeting on "Longan Packing Plant Operators in the Eastern Region 2024/2025", emphasizing the export of quality and safe products that meet the standards of the destination country to jointly maintain the longan market for sustainability.
