In 2023, Russia saw a nearly six-fold increase in dairy exports, reaching 20 thousand tons, primarily driven by the supply of milk powder and whey. The total export value remained steady at $376 million, with Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Georgia being the main buyers. There was also a significant increase in exports of fermented milk products, drinking milk, and cream. New markets for Russian dairy products have emerged in the Philippines, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Oman, with potential contracts being prepared for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Iraq.
