A survey by Focus Market in Argentina has found that the cost of a traditional New Year's dinner has increased significantly across different budgets from 2015 to 2020. For an economic budget, the cost has risen by 30% to $3,808, for an intermediate budget it has increased by 47% to $5,293, and for a premium budget it has also increased by 47% to $10,182. The dinner includes 4 kilos of suckling pig, 2.25-liter cola soda, 930 cubic centimeter red wine, potato and egg salad, 500-gram sweet bread with fruits, 230-gram fruit pudding, caramelized and nougat, two sparkling drinks and 1 kilo of ice cream.
